His 2022 work I Hear Future Voices, explored the intersection between art and science by producing three short films based on research in the field of voice assistants and was presented as part of the LIT Call at the Ars Electronica Festival.
Beyond film, Julian has increasingly explored sound art, with works shown at the Localize Festival 2024 in Germany, Ars Electronica Center, and the European Capital of Culture 2024. His works focus on creating dense soundscapes by layering and altering voices, environmental sounds and field recordings.
From 2024-2025 Julian participated in the Crossborder film school program for film directing in Gorizia (Italy), where he directed the short film “Lo Sfratto“, further expanding his creative and collaborative reach within Europe’s film and art communities.
